You guys.
We are less than 24 hours away from the hubby and I hitting the road to go pick up our little man. To say I'm excited would be an understatement of mammoth proportions. I'm counting down the minutes till it's 8 am here, and I can call the puppy's foster mother to finalize our arrangements. Not that it will help. My brain is all like, "Puppy, puppy, puppy, puppy, puppy... Is it time to leave yet? No? Puppy, puppy, puppy, puppy..."
Seriously. It's been a rough couple of days, trying to be patient. The hubby and I went shopping, and got the puppy a bowl, a leash, and a harness. We almost got a bed, but then couldn't agree on one. The puppy will probably get a hand-me-down bed for the time being. Just think friends. By my next post (which will either be Wednesday or Thursday, depending on how late the hubby and I get back to Kentucky tomorrow night) I'll have tons of puppy pictures and stories.
Sigh. Puppies are the best, aren't they? While I'm off to daydream about little roly-poly balls of fluffy fur, I'll leave y'all with 25 deliciously cheesy recipes. Because cheese is the 2nd best thing to puppies. Now there's a quote if I ever heard one :)

ReplyDeleteYes, we have him! He's so darn cute! And a teething handful, but we love him! I'm hoping to get a post with some pictures up this afternoon, but things are a little chaotic... in a good way :) So, we'll see!
