Summer Pedi's

I've been really in to polish, stickers, designs, and just summer pedicures in general. Maybe this is because it's been a while since I've shown any interest in my toes, or maybe it's Pinterest (it's probably Pinterest). Either way, I've been obsessed as of late. I usually wait 3 weeks, maybe a month, to re-do polish on my toes. For the last month, I've been repainting every week.

I've tried some fun, cute things recently. I got some Bedazzle nail stickers on sale one week, and I really like them! I stick them on my nails, cover them with top-coat, and they do not budge. They are also very hard to scrub off with polish remover, but I digress.

The first look that I really liked was coral with star stickers. I'm by no means a professional at painting my toes, so bear with me :)

I think this was my favorite so far. I did this for Memorial Day weekend, with Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri in Sonic Boom.

This was the next look I tried with the Bedazzle Nail stickers, using Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Good to Grape. I used a group of star stickers, and then a jewel sticker. I didn't like this color, and I think the nail art would've been better with just the stars. The pack comes with 100 stickers, so there's plenty more time to experiment.

And last (but certainly not least), I've got my ombre look. I put these colors together on my own, so I'm pretty proud. I think it ended up looking well for DIY look, picking out my own colors. I used the following:

Next up, I'm trying the ombre in the reverse order. Dark to light. And as soon as I get some more makeup sponges, I'm trying this amazing ombre trick from Pinterest.

I'll be keeping my eye out for new nail polish sales over the next few weeks, I've got a hankerin' for more stickers :)
