Cookie Dough Bites for 2 (or 1)


Sometimes you just have to give in. And when you do, it's a big, bad fall from grace. You are reduced to eating balls of cookie dough coated in chocolate.

I gave in. I wanted chocolate chip cookies or cookie dough. Or something. So I did something you should never do. I browsed Pinterest on an empty stomach. And why should you never browse Pinterest on an empty stomach? Because this is what happens.

For any and all cookie dough lovers, if you want something fast to kill that craving, here it is. There's no egg in it, so basically you have no reason not to eat all the cookie dough. I retained some measure of self-control last night, and managed to only eat 2.

I considered that a success :)


Ingredients (makes 6 cookies):
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
2 ounces mini-chocolate chips

1/3 cup chocolate chips, melted

Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix vanilla in. Mix flour in. Fold in mini-chocolate chips.
2. Roll dough into balls, place on a cookie sheet. Chill in fridge 30 minutes, or until set.
3. Melt 1/3 cup chocolate chips in microwave, 1-2 minutes. Dip cookie dough bites into the chocolate, and place on a plate until chocolate hardens. Store in the fridge.
