Time for this month's roundup!
Sure cookies are the hip thing at Christmas, and around Valentine's Day, but if we are going to be really honest, cookies are good all the time. They have been the bane of my existence since I've learned how to bake, the reason those last 3 stubborn pounds hang on.
If not being the perfect celebrity sample size means stuffing my face with chocolate, peanut butter, nuts, frosting, sprinkles, and everything else that makes this world totally awesome, so be it. That's a fate I'm willing to accept.
I've rounded up my absolute best of the best cookie recipes I've tested out. Cookies are one of those things that usually turn out right. There have been very few cookie recipes that I've had to make, and re-make to get the technique down. Cookies are easy. They're delicious. And gosh darn it, people love them. Who isn't softened by the action of receiving a batch of homemade cookies? That person is few and far between. So, we'll get back to reality tomorrow. Talk about all those things that don't involve sugar and spice and everything nice on another day. If you're snowed in (that's us!) why not bake a batch of cookies and settle in to watch a movie?
That's where you'll find us today :)
Enjoy the cookie recipes!

I'm sorry! I have an out, because when I make cookies, the hubby takes them to work and all the guys eat them. So while I make and post all these cookies, I rarely eat them! LOL. My apologies!
DeleteBut on the other hand, life is too short to be without cookies! :)
