Corn Holin'

What you say? Corn hole? Umm, is that appropriate?

Yes, yes it is. Corn Hole is a traditional game here in the South, referred to on the West Coast as "Bean Bag Toss". The game has been around forever, the name coming from the fact that the original bean bags were filled with corn kernels and you toss the bags towards your opponents board, which has one hole in in. The object of the game is to get as many bags in your opponents hole as possible. Hence the name, Corn Hole. Yeah, I'm sure that's what you were thinking :)

Traditional Corn Hole Boards

Corn Hole is big in the South and big in the hubby's family. The hubby's uncle frequently plays in Corn Hole tournaments, as well as hosts them. The hubby frequently helps out at these tournaments, they can last up to 6 hours. The one complaint he had was that they needed more music. Apparently, they put a CD on and listen to it on repeat. That's one way to get sick of Daughtry real quick!

I set forth to make a playlist that the hubby could take with him next time. Making a 6-hour playlist was a tall order, I came up with a 3 hour playlist. I say even if you have to repeat the list once, at least you are only listening to the songs twice. Or play the list once, and then put a CD in. I'll have to work my way up to a 6 hour play list, that will take a while.

In making this "Corn Hole" playlist, I actually came up with an awesome workout list as well. Tons of the songs on this list are perfect for working out. My list now has a dual function! Seeing as how my list has almost 50 songs on it, I will share part of it here and post the whole thing on my playlists page.

Corn Hole Playlist:

I'll leave you with a pic of the hubby and his uncle getting their Corn Hole on.

With Cincinnati Bengals boards, of course :)
